SOK Studios is a scent studio based in Mt Albert, Auckland.
We offer immersive perfume workshops and incense experiences, designed to help you reconnect with your senses.

Here, scent is a language. A ritual. A return.
We work slowly. We create in small batches.
Each workshop is hands-on, story-driven, and guided with care.

We craft intimate moments through scent, one guest at a time.

Behind the name

‘Sok’ means “inside” in Korean.  
But for us, it holds more than one meaning.

Depth. Quiet. Return.  
A space below the surface. A place you come back to.  

We chose this bottle not just for its form, but for its feeling.
Solid like a mountain. Quiet like the inside.
A vessel for what’s within — its shape even pointing inward, like a quiet arrow toward the self.

This name isn’t just about location.  
It’s about feeling. Being held. Being honest. Being slow.

 

 

Built with our hands

We built this place ourselves, week by week, with sanding, painting, and dreaming.
The walls, the windows, even the scent in the air — everything was chosen to feel lived-in, slow, and real.

This isn’t a studio designed to impress.
It’s a studio made to hold stories. Yours.

 

 

A sanctuary in the making

This is what Sok looked like in the beginning. Just bare walls and concrete.
But even then, we saw what it could become.
A studio for scent and memory, built slowly with intention.

Now it holds light, fragrance, stillness — and soon, your story too.
