Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SOK Studios’ website, workshops, products, and all related services (“Services”). By purchasing or participating in any part of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Services  
Our products and services are designed for personal, non-commercial use only. Any misuse or reproduction of our materials, formulas, or experiences without written consent is strictly prohibited.

2. Booking and Workshop Attendance  
All bookings are final and non-refundable. You may transfer your workshop booking to another person by contacting us at least 5 days in advance.  
We do not offer refunds or rescheduling for change of mind, lateness, or no-shows under any circumstance.  
You are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated and no refunds will be issued.

3. Product Purchases  
Our perfume and incense products are made in small batches with care. As each order is made to order or individually selected, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is clearly faulty or damaged in transit.  
In such cases, you must contact us within 3 days of receiving the item with photos and a description of the issue. Claims made after this period will not be considered.

4. Liability  
SOK Studios is not liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities resulting from the use of our products or materials.  
All workshop participants are responsible for disclosing any allergies or sensitivities before their session. By attending, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property  
All content, scent formulas, materials, branding, photography, and visual identity belong to SOK Studios. Reproduction or commercial use without permission is strictly prohibited.

6. Service Interruptions  
In the event of force majeure or other events outside our control (e.g., power outages, natural disasters), we reserve the right to postpone or cancel sessions. We will contact you to reschedule or provide alternatives as appropriate.

7. Governing Law  
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.

8. Updates  
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our Services implies acceptance of any updates.
